I use the Avata 1 for real estate shots. What sucks though is you can't take straight down shots without seeing props. I wish you would have shown the full tilt of what the camera can do and shows.. cause the Avata 1 shows WAY TOO MUCH propeller when you look straight down.. you did kind of show it at one point, but then you cut the video off. Either way, thanks for showing everything else

Definitely like the 45deg downward gimble angle. DJI needs to add some type of beeper that can be initiated when you get to the recovery spot. It would not take much voltage at all.

13:00 I couldn't see that "H" when I flew around the Salton Sea and lost track of my drone's location. There was some kind of weirdass fallout shelter building near a pond of water, and luckily, I could use that as a point of reference to get back. I couldn't get the "return home " button to work.

I hold on to my control sticks super tight and slowly, very slowly, handle them extremely carefully. I fly around loose sand and rocks. So far I'm good.

Y dont they put a whistle feature when lost.

So did you use a torque wrench to verify you torqued the bolts correctly on the front end before you rode it? It sounds like you didn't. I can't fault a company that won't honor a warranty for someone that didn't follow the instructions...

You notice a difference if you break the battery in my first 6 flights it didn’t last as long as it did after that it got about 3 quarters of the range it does now with a battery with 30 cycles I lost my mini 2 the first day I had it as I tried to see how much further it would fly than a phantom 3

Does'nt it have a sound alarm that you can set off to help find it?

I'm really surprised that Dji have not put an audio beeper on these that can be turned on by a press of few buttons on remote if in like a 50m range. I know you can get 3rd party things like this, but you have to attach them to drone. Surely an incorporated version of this can be done.

Got my Avata 2 based in part on your review. Absolutely love it! I’ve crashed it 3 times since I started flying it early today, no damage at all so far! Two were just bushes/landed in the grass but the other was a solid fall from clipping the top of a 20+ft tree! It tumbled through the branches and was just sitting at the bottom . I used the Find my Drone feature and was back up and running in just a few minutes. That motion controller sure is easy to pick up, learning all the buttons and where options are hiding in interfaces, is a whole different ball game.

That was a cell tower on Molokini. It "may" have also had some sort of light beacon on it for boat traffic as well.

Did you read the owners manual? It had a massive amount of internal storage NOT none. Look it up

Your high winds warning was the load destabilizing the drone making the gyros register what's programmed as buffeting winds.

If parrot's consumer drones is this bad, then we can imagine their millitary drones to be much worse.

Did the hardware kit come with the camera ? I just got my camera yd through Amazon and it did not come with the hardware kit.
